When a white duvet covers the mountains, no skier or snowboarders can resist the temptation of the ski-slope. There are favourite ski-areas with many quality ski-slopes and cross-country routes in the surroundings of the Sněženka Hotel
There are many ski-areas in the hotel surroundings, eg. Ramzová - Šerák, Velké Vrbno, Stříbrnice, Kunčice, Petříkov or Branná. In Hynčice pod Sušinou itself there are two downhill slopes with artificial snow, which are about 500 metres from the hotel. The smaller one is suitable mainly for children and beginners. If you are not very good at skiing, you should start on this slope. The bigger slope offers a good downhill course for proficient skiers. A ski bus goes to the slopes free of charge. The stop is right in front of the hotel. There is a newly opened slope with a three-seat chair lift, which is 952 meters high, and is accessible from Hynčice pod Sušinou.
If you are fond of cross skiing, you will find many cross-skiing routes in the hotel surroundings, eg. Kralický Sněžník - Návrší - Stříbrnice - Paprsek etc.
